The prolific Mr. Cwick's latest tale forced me to invisualize yet again.

Finding reasonably close source material (damned if I could find a nurse with cap and panty!) took a bit of time.

The actual rendering was fairly straightforward. The bedspread had to be changed to a more hospitally-correct color and the wall monitor helped to make it look less like a hotel room. I was already to send it off to Paul when I re-read the story and discovered that it took place at night. I had to go back and play around with the lighting a bit to make the time of day a bit more ambiguous.

He seemed to like the results:

What do I think?

COOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!

(MMMMMM! That's "Stephanie" all right!)

Thanx!!

(It's so wild to actually SEE something I pictured only in my mind's eye become REAL!! Like when I first laid eyes on the "Vanishing Woman" picture: my reaction was "WOW!!")

* * *

I saw the pic posted with the story; it looks great! I think the placement is good; it's right in the middle where I would have put it. I also noticed what you did with the lighting; that was really neat.

I know what you mean about not finding a pic w/ a nurse's cap. As a matter of fact, I wondered about that very detail when I wrote the story; I couldn't remember from my own hospital experience whether or not they even still wear those things! Be that as it may, though, I'm VERY pleased with the resulting picture!

[Please excuse the blatantly self-serving testimonials, gentle reader. It's important for my own peace of mind when the inspiring author approves an unauthorized illustration.]
