Vision in Black

Back in the early 90s after having some conflicts with PCTV over what to do with the Invisible footage with Gayle. I had thought of an idea where I could do the same things, but involving UV(blacklight) and newer models. I was attending classes in Pittsburgh and managed to borrow a SVHS camcorder and a UV light from the photography instructor there. I had also scoured around looking for models for the venture. Only thing was that the models weren't reliable (unless there was $$$$ involved)

So I landed a dance major who wasn't a "glamour queen" and we did some fruitful video experiments that were done in between classes. Lynda took to the venture very well. She graduated to doing the bluescreen soon after, but she found a release in the blacklight. We also added two other people for the experimental venture,a tall grad student from CMU named Donna and a teen model/dance student named Nicole. This is the results that were unearthed by me from the personal collection and culled by Mike B.

The concept is pretty simple. The model would need the following clothes: -black unitard and tights

-beige/offwhite clothing and shoes

I used a black seamless wall for the backdrop, plus a UV portable light and a SVHS camcorder. The lights were off in the studio, save for the UV light. Here's some of the results for you to see. Feedback welcome.
